The sizes below fit most people. Every ear is a little different, so if you're unsure, our piercers can measure you at the clinic.
How we measure

Thickness (gauge)
How thick the bar is. We list it in gauge (G): the higher the number, the thinner the bar. Most of our jewelry is 16G.

Hoop size (diameter)
Measured across the inside of the ring. A smaller diameter sits snug to the ear; a bigger one hangs a little lower.

Stud length (post)
The wearable length of the post, from the back of the top to the disc. It should match the thickness of your ear at that spot.

All sizes are 16G unless the product says otherwise.
Fresh piercings start on a longer post to leave room for swelling. Once it settles, your piercer will downsize it to a snug fit.
For hoops, go smaller for a snug, hugging look and bigger for more movement. For studs, a post that's too short can press into the ear, so ask us if unsure.
